Lali Hess and the Juniper Spoon staff were a pleasure to work with! They customized a menu according to our taste, interests, and budget. For example, we asked for something with a Mediterranean/North African influence. Lali came up with a menu that consisted of Moroccan lamb tagine served on couscous, potato salad tzapanos, naan bread, and a Greek salad–not your usual wedding fare! On the day of our wedding, they were extremely professional and required no oversight or management. They even packed up the leftovers for us to take home after the wedding. We were especially pleased that the Juniper Spoon locally sources and grows their food–not only does it align with our own values, but I think that it comes through in the quality and care that they put into making the food. Our only complaint is that the food could have been a little warmer when it was served. But overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Juniper Spoon to anyone.
